Her 2022 debut, Galvanizing Steel, sold out Gibney Dance Theater and established the foundation of her choreographic voice. Since then, her work has been presented at La MaMa Moves Festival, Green Space Theater, The Kraine Theater, and the Doug Varone Devices Showcase, with commissions from Barnard/Columbia and Skidmore College. Her recent research-driven work, Veins of Alloy, developed through a dedicated residency at Jacob's Pillow, continues this inquiry — examining what it means to be both substance and significance, and how bodies transform under sustained pressure. She is a 2023 JCAL Commission artist recipient, a 2026 Ann and Weston Hicks Fellow at Jacob's Pillow, and holds an MFA from Hunter College, where she received the Shuster Award for Outstanding Master's Thesis. Alongside her choreographic practice, Francesca is a sought-after teaching artist, with recurring teaching appointments at Columbia,/Barnard Juilliard, Marymount Manhattan, Northeastern, Gibney, Mark Morris, and Peridance.
